Certificates

Do my Aceable certificates expire?

Neither your Permit Certificate nor License Certificate/Certificate of Completion have expiration dates on them. However, the score you earned on the written permit test is only good for two years (I wish the milk in my fridge lasted that long!). Therefore, you should head to the DPS with your Permit Certificate within two years of the issue date printed on it.

When will I get my certificates from Aceable?

Aceable will email you two DE-964 certificates that you need to print out.

You’ll receive your DE-964 Permit Certificate within one hour of completing the permit test at the end of Level 1 (first six hours of the course). You’ll present this at the DPS when you get your permit.

*Your Permit Certificate will be marked for the Concurrent Method. If you need it marked for the Block Method, please contact us when you finish all 32 hours of your course (12 levels).

You’ll receive your DE-964 License Certificate/Certificate of Completion within one hour of completing all 32 hours of your course (12 levels). You’ll present this at the DPS when you get your license.

What do I do if I lost my certificate?

You can always log back into your Aceable account and click “View Certificate” from the home screen. This allows you to download the certificate and print it out.

You can also search for the email in your inbox, spam, junk, or trash. The sender of the email is support@aceable.com and the subject line says “Your Certificate and next steps”.

How do I change my profile information?

  1. Sign into your Aceable account.
  2. Open up the menu by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner.
  3. Click on “Student Profile”.
  4. You can change anything in your profile by clicking on any field and typing in something different.
  5. Save your changes by clicking on “Finish” at the bottom of the profile.

If we have emailed your certificate to you already, please email us here so we can update your certificate. Once we’ve done that, we will email you an updated certificate. You can also view the updated version from your account.
